Clients served

We serve children, adolescents, adults and seniors, and are able to work with them as individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Broad range of therapies

Our therapists are all well-grounded in the fundamentals of psychotherapy and treatment and offer a broad range of therapies to clients seeking services. See the therapy session page for a description of a typical therapy session.

All clinicians are versed in standard cognitive behavioral interventions and in traditional insight-oriented approaches. Please see a partial list of issues treated to your right.

Additional techniques, wellness and personal development

Additional techniques offered by some therapists include:

  • hypnosis
  • EMDR
  • mindfulness
  • pain management
  • family therapy
  • couples therapy
  • play therapy, and
  • faith-based approaches.

And, several of our therapists are well-versed in a variety of techniques designed to help clients achieve optimum wellness and personal satisfaction in their jobs and personal lives.

Our therapists' profiles show what particular techniques and approaches each employs. Visit our therapists section.

Training, consulting, court-ordered work and critical incident therapy

A number of our therapists do training and consult with organizations, schools, banks, religious groups, hospitals, residential treatment centers, and other treatment facilities.

We also work extensively with the court system, and provide co-parenting training as well as court-ordered evaluations. Several of our therapists also have special training to hold critical incident stress debriefing in the wake of a tragic event.

The Westwood Group has a 24-hour answering service with a therapist on call for emergencies for our current clients.
