Christopher G. James

has been working with adults and adolescents in Richmond and Arizona for over 10 years. His experience includes work in trauma treatment centers, conducting in-home therapeutic work, residential assessments and diagnostics, and outpatient therapy. During this time, he received advanced training in trauma recovery and has worked extensively with anxiety, and depression. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and master’s degree in social work from Arizona State University.

Mr. James uses a variety of treatment techniques specific to the needs of each individual client. He utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavior therapy, gestalt, humanistic, relational, and EMDR. His primary focus is on creating a comfortable environment and building relationships with each client to enable them to reach their highest potential.

Mr. James specializes in anxiety and depression, and has advanced training working with PTSD and trauma.
